The three last tracks of some crossing references are from Delicate Sound Of Thunder, but this one features the complete concert including Gilmour's speeches. It sounds like the radio broadcast. There is one drop out at the begining of Run Like Hell. -PATRICK It seems that this is the only Knebworth RoIO that features the complete Pink Floyd performance from that night. "The Knebworth Concert" and "The Knebworth Tales '90" only contain 4 tracks from Knebworth, the other tracks being dubbed from the official "Delicate Sound Of Thunder". Maybe the "Aurora Spectralis" RoIO also features the whole concert, but with one more track (I suspect that "Run Like Hell" appears twice on that RoIO: once under the title "Another Brick In The Wall Part 2", and then under the right title). The sound quality here is excellent. This is taken from the stereo broadcast. Even "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell" are taken from the broadcast, as they sound slightly different than the "clean" versions on the official "Knebworth - The Album". It was a live broadcast, so there are some imperfections in the mix (the debut vocals on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Wish You Were Here" and "Comfortably Numb" are first too low mixed, then suddently perfectly audible). There's one thing _very_ annoying with this RoIO. It seems that some unscrupulous mixer found funny to "extend" some songs! For instance, during "Wish You Were Here", at 3:59, there's a cut that brings us back 44 seconds earlier in the song! So, the second that must follow 3:59 can only be found at 4:43! You have to "jump" from 3:59 to 4:43 to hear the true song!!! This kind of "repeat-loop" happens on 3 other tracks: on "Sorrow" (from 6:57 to 10:10), on "Money" (from 6:00 to 6:44) and on "Run Like Hell" (from 1:10 to 1:51... there are 8 guitar intros instead of 4). Nothing is missing, but some portions appear twice. I suspect that the "Aurora Spectralis" RoIO has the same problem (see the timings: 13' for "Sorrow"). The performance is very good. The Floyd hadn't play for one year, and they seem to really enjoy themselves, comparing to the 1989 performances. The bad point is a disastrous version of "The Great Gig In The Sky" by... Claire Torry herslef! As if she has lost her voice that evening. One can hear Gilmour introducing her after the song, along with saxophonist Candy Dulfer, who only played that night with the Floyd. This is also the only 1990 public appearance for the band. In one word: this RoIO is perfect quality and contains the full show... but a little more. The only thing you can do is to make a copy (on tape or CD-R) from this RoIO, skipping the repeated portions! Then you'll have the ultimate version for the Knebworth show. - MARC-OLIVIER. Everything about this roio is great, except The Great Gig In The Sky. Clare Torry was certainly in a bad night. - FERNANDO.
