Quality:   Ex? 

Comments:  Quality is remarkably difficult to judge. What we have here is 
           a very good presentation of material that, honestly, probably 
           shouldn't have been put out. I mean, it's exceptionally 
           uninteresting. Take the recent remastered Piper CD and compare 
           it to this release and you'll just shake your head wondering 
           what possessed somebody to bother releasing this thing. Ok, 
           Ok... Some people have suggested that the mono LPs were mixed 
           differently from the stereo LPs. That's true enough. They are a 
           mono mix whereas the stereo LPs are a stereo mix. End of story. 
           Another thing that bothers me is that this CD is not quite the 
           correct speed. If you compare the length of this CD to the 
           length of the combined remastered Piper & Saucerful CDs, you'll 
           find that this CD is 3:28 shorter! That's approximately 4.5% 
           too fast. Just enough to annoy me! 

           There just isn't enough to justify the expenditure. Unless you 
           are a raving completist, you'll wish you'd spent your hard 
           earned on something else.
