It's an audience recording so don't expect too much. I found it to be very variable: it starts pretty badly but seems to get better or is it just that the ear becomes accustomed to the poor sound. 'Best of Tour 72' is *the* Dark Side to get, far superior to this one. Disc 2 is probably better but again don't build up your hopes too much. For the 28 UK pounds I spent on it I don't consider I have a bargain! -DAVID A very good '72 recording of a full show, including a early DSotM set. Sound quality is excellent, it's very clear and there is very little audience noise. There is a little tape hiss (and thus not as good as the 'Best Of Tour 72' CD), but it is far better than the 3CD 'Cracked' which contains the same show. On The Run is the jam version and TGGITS is without vocals (or the preacher tapes) but with the piano parts. I've got some video clips from this show and there's a lot fireworks and a great light show to accompany the concert. As opposed to the 'Cracked' RoIO this one contains the whole of Echoes, and the recording is going at the right speed. The CD also includes a nice 20 pages booklet (as GDR always have). I'll recommend this one. -TOR Same show as Cracked. It's a classic show; definitely worth having. The sound quality on these CDs is better than Cracked, and this whole show is on only two CDs, so it's a better buy. Recommended. -ECM Apart from the pompeii-movie, this was the last time they played 'Saucer'. -ANDRE
