Overall, the picture quality is better than about 95% of bootleg videos I have seen making it a 'must have' for this reason alone. Most of the shots are steady, but the oblique camera angle means that a lot of them are shots of Dave or the rest of the band, or wide-angle shots of Mr. Screen. However the picture quality good enough that you can see a lot of what is going on on the stage. Camera focus is consitently quite good. There is a minimal amount of crowd interference (people walking in front of the picture) however the crowd noise is quite high in parts, due more to the enthusiasm of the crowd rather than any drunken individuals. There is a rare glimpse of the "Welcome To The Machine" video which I think is the same film that they used during the '70s. There is a brief dropout at the start of ABITW2, about 30 seconds is lost (possibly because the video cassette was being changed), hardly a great loss. The excerpt of this show included in "Variations on a theme of Absence" has picture quality that is somewhat worse than my copy. Overall, this video is in the top 5-10% of all video boots, IMHO. -HAMISH
