Comments: original Master from Soundboard-Equipment Distributed by Fantastic Voyage / Liberty Records Concepted & Compiled By Syd Barrett's Karma

The back of the cover says it's the "Original Master from Soundboard-Equipment". That must be a slight overstatement, to say the least. The sound is, while listenable, not particularly clear, and it has a quite annoying amount of tape hiss. Instead I think it's probably mastered from the 2LP "Roger".

Secondly, "Let's Open the Doors..." and "In the Pink" cannot both be from the same show at Radio City Music Hall, NY 28.3.85. If you listen carefully, you'll notice slight differences in the performances. For instance, Mr. Waters sings the line "By the the way, which one is Pink?" from Have a Cigar differently on the two records.

My hypothesis is that only "In the Pink!", which has the best sound quality, is taken from a radio broadcast. "Let's Open the Doors..." and "Roger" must be from some other show; I have no idea which. - JON
