Expect nothing! There is no such thing as a VoIO-database (VoIO = Video of Illegitimate/Indeterminate Origin).

However, if enough input from owners of videos is provided we might be tempted to collect entries of Pink Floyd video tapes and set up a VoIO-database.

However, there are several rather significant difficulties to overcome.

VoIOs are more like audio tapes. They are "floating" around and no one knows what is available in which quality. There are no VoIO manufacturers. To make things even more complicated, we have two different video standards: NTSC (america) and PAL (europe).

To give you an idea of what is floating around I picked up two "trading" lists. Don't even try to ask me whose lists they are. I have long since deleted the original files and forgotten about the originators.

This is the first and this is the second.

A list of TV appearances shows what might be available.

Here are some experimental entries ... we have no idea of a general format, what information to include how to rate them etc...

Additionally, a report about Roger Waters VoIOs.

There are many, many, MANY more illicit video tapes floating around out there. The above is just the tip of the iceberg.
