Comments: This is Volume I of a 2 disc set. Track 5 is listed as One of These Days.

Sound is better than on ROTSON ROIO. Second half of recording is on "Volume II, Eugene". -CEBBY

This is a pretty good stereo audience recording. The audience is very quiet, and doesn't affect the listening during the songs.

During "Set The Controls", it seems that the tape source had a problem with the left channel. At 5:48, the left channel is totally lost for about 2 minutes, then it reappears, but with a very low level. This problem disappears with the next track ("Atom Heart Mother").

"Atom Heart Mother" is the version without the brass section. It fades out early, after the "Funky Dung" part. Track 5 is listed "One Of These Days", but it's in fact the very end of "Atom Heart Mother" ("Remergence"). BTW, this is the same mistake as for "The Return Of The Sons Of Nothing" (Gold Standard) ROIO. "One Of These Days" can be found on the second half of this concert (see "Eugene" ROIO).

The performance is excellent. This is one of the last concerts from the "Meddle" tour. Two month later, the Floyd began their 1972 tour, playing the "Dark Side Of The Moon" for the first time. Here, we have one of the very last live versions of "Embryo" and "Fat Old Sun". "Set The Controls" is very good, and is very close to the "Live At Pompeii" version (the Pompeii's sessions took place one month before, in October 1971). -MARC-OLIVIER.
